Irrespective of the delivery platform you use or of how the Straits Times Razor TV Content (defined below) is delivered to or accessed by you, by accessing and/or subscribing to and/or using the Straits Times Razor TV ("Razor TV") website and the online content/services available on it ("Razor TV") you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you use the Razor TV website in the course of your business, you are also agreeing to these terms and conditions on behalf of that business.

If you do not agree with the terms and conditions (or are not authorised to do so) you should not use the Razor TV website and should log out now. If you have any questions please contact razortv@sph.com.sg .

The Straits Times Razor TV (“Razor TV”) may change, alter or withdraw any part of the Razor TV website at any time (with or without notice to you) and may also change the terms and conditions. Razor TV will publish details of any changes to the terms and conditions in Section 11 below. You should regularly check Section 11 of these terms and conditions to see if any changes have been made - by using the Razor TV website after we have posted the changes, you are agreeing to be bound by them. If you do not agree to the changes you should cease using the Razor TV website and you may cancel your subscription to any Subscription Service in accordance with applicable terms set out below.
References in these terms and conditions to " Razor TV " (or "we", "us" or "our") refer to the company operating the Razor TV website, see the Corporate Information section below for more details.
From time to time Razor TV will run competitions, promotions and surveys on the Razor TV website. These are subject to additional terms and conditions that will be made available at the time they are run.

1. Access and Use
Razor TV reserves the right to change the manner in which Razor TV Content is made available or accessible to users. Certain sites or pages are only for use by users in the Republic of Singapore - see Section 9 below for details.
Permitted Use: All Razor TV Content belongs to Razor TV or its licensors. Razor TV or its licensors own all intellectual property rights (including copyright and database rights) in the Razor TV Content and any selection or arrangement of the Razor TV Content. You may for your personal, non-commercial use:
• retrieve and display Razor TV Content on any compatible device;
• print a single copy of individual articles on paper (but not photocopy them); and
• store such articles in electronic form on disk or on a mobile device (but not on any server or other storage device connected to a network).

You may also on an occasional and infrequent basis email headlines appearing on the Razor TV website (but not full text articles) to a maximum of five individuals using our 'Email Article' service, provided that you shall not use this function for the purpose of either creating a commercial or revenue-generating service or regular information dissemination within any organization or other entity.

2. Privacy Policy and Registration

All information received by you from your use of the Razor TV website may be used by Razor TV and such use shall be in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

On registration, you must provide Razor TV with accurate, complete registration information and it is your responsibility to update and maintain changes to that information on the applicable the Razor TV website registration pages. Razor TV is entitled to rely on any information you provide to us.

Each registration is for a single user only. On registration, you will choose a user name and password ("ID"). Razor TV does not permit any other person sharing your ID or access through a single ID being made available to multiple users on a network. Razor TV may cancel or suspend your access to the Razor TV website if you do this without further obligation to you.

You are responsible for all use of the Razor TV website made by you or anyone else using your ID and for preventing unauthorised use of your Razor TV. If you believe there has been any breach of security such as the disclosure, theft or unauthorised use of your ID or any payment information, you must notify Razor TV immediately by e-mailing.

If you provide Razor TV with an email address that will result in any messages Razor TV may send you being sent to you via a network or device operated or owned by a third party (e.g. your employer or college) then you warrant that you are entitled to receive those messages. You also agree that Razor TV may refrain from sending messages to you without notifying you, even if you have subscribed to receive them, if we receive a request from a third party to stop sending messages to you.

If you subscribe to the Razor TV website Subscription Services (see Section 8 below) then you may choose to use the "Remember me" log in feature that enables you to be logged in automatically to the Razor TV website whenever you visit without having to manually log in each time. However, we recommend that you do not enable this feature on any computer that is or may be used by anyone other than you in order to prevent unauthorized access by third parties to both your subscription details and features of the Razor TV website personal to you.

3. Technical Requirements and Site Security
The Razor TV website is best viewed using the Internet browsers IE6 or Netscape 7 at 800x600 resolution. Any older browser versions may work but users could have limited browsing capability. Any payment information you send to us over the Internet is encrypted using 128 bit Secure Socket Layer technology. SSL is currently the preferred method to securely transfer credit card data over the Internet.

4. Exclusion of Liability

The Razor TV Content is only for your general information and use and is not intended to address your particular requirements. In particular, the Razor TV Content does not constitute any form of advice, recommendation, representation, endorsement or arrangement by Razor TV and is not intended to be relied upon by users in making (or refraining from making) any specific investment or other decisions. Appropriate independent advice should be obtained before making any such decision. Any agreements, transactions or other arrangements made between you and any third party named on (or linked to from) the Razor TV website are at your sole risk and responsibility. Any information that you receive via the Razor TV website whether or not it is classified as "real time", may have ceased to be current by the time it reaches you and share price information may be rounded up/down and therefore not entirely accurate. Razor TV is not responsible for any use of the Razor TV Content by you outside its scope as stated in these terms and conditions.

No Warranty: Razor TV does not give any warranty in respect of the Razor TV website. To the extent permitted under applicable law, Razor TV hereby disclaims all warranties, conditions or duties of every nature whatsoever, including without limitation, any implied warranties of quality, merchantability or of fitness for a particular purpose, any express or statutory warranties, and any warranties or duties regarding accuracy, timeliness, completeness, performance, availability or lack of negligence. There is no warranty that the Razor TV website is free from infection by viruses or anything else that has contaminating or destructive properties.

Exclusion of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, Razor TV shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage which relates to your business or investment choices whether or not as a direct or indirect consequence of your use of the Razor TV website (including lost profits or loss of privacy or loss of or damage to data).

In addition to but separate from the above specific exclusion and to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, Razor TV shall also not be liable to you for any other indirect, special, consequential, incidental, punitive or exemplary damages whatsoever that arise out of or are related to your use of the Razor TV website.

The above disclaimers and exclusion of liability apply equally to your use of the Razor TV website and all SPH Content.

Without limitation to the above, Razor TV is not liable for matters beyond its reasonable control.

5. Third Party Sites and Services

The Razor TV website contains links to other Internet websites or online and mobile services provided by independent third parties ("Third Party Sites"), either directly or through frames. Third Party Sites may be co-branded with Razor TV and so include Razor TV’s trade mark. Razor TV is not responsible for the availability or content of Third Party Sites and will not be a party to, or in any way responsible for, any transaction concerning goods or services available from such Third Party Sites. If you purchase products or services from a Third Party Site your contract for such products or services will be with the third party and not with Razor TV. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to Third Party Sites.

Copyright in any software that is made available for download from the Razor TV website belongs to Razor TV or its suppliers. Your use of the software is governed by the terms of any licence agreement that may accompany or be included with the software. Razor TV is not responsible for any technical or other issues that may arise if you download third party software. Do not install or use any software unless you agree to such licence agreement.

The Razor TV website contains advertising and sponsorship. Advertisers and sponsors are responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on the Razor TV website complies with all applicable laws. Razor TV will not be responsible for any error or inaccuracy in advertising or sponsorship material.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

The parties irrevocably agree that the courts of the Republic of Singapore shall have jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise out of, under, or in connection with these terms and conditions, and for those purposes irrevocably submit all disputes to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.

7. General

You may not assign, sub-license or otherwise transfer any of your rights or obligations under these terms and conditions.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.

Failure by either party to exercise any right or remedy under these terms and conditions does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy. Headings in these terms and conditions are for convenience only and will have no legal meaning or effect.

No third party shall have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap.53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
